Conceptual content; no controlled technical data

This site contains no controlled technical data within the meaning of the United States International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR, 22 CFR Parts 120–130), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR, 15 CFR Parts 730–774), the export control regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, or the export control laws of any other applicable jurisdiction.

SKYWASP is a long-range one-way attack unmanned aerial vehicle developed and manufactured in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by SR2 Vector, a joint venture between SR2 Defense Systems and Vector Systems. Any commercial, technical, or contractual arrangements between the constituent entities of SR2 Vector are conducted under separate written agreements and, where applicable, appropriate regulatory authorizations.

REDSALT Defense, LLC is a defense services and manufacturing technology firm registered with the United States Department of State Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC Registrant Code K-9779). This registration is a matter of REDSALT Defense’s corporate regulatory standing and is referenced for completeness; it is not a representation regarding the regulatory treatment of any specific technology, transaction, or arrangement described or implied on this site.

Joint venture structure

SR2 Vector is a private-sector joint venture between SR2 Defense Systems and Vector Systems, formed for the development, manufacturing, and deployment of advanced defense technologies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. SKYWASP is a Saudi-domiciled, Saudi-manufactured capability of SR2 Vector. Each constituent entity of the joint venture retains its independent corporate identity, intellectual property, regulatory standing, and operational responsibilities. Public references to either constituent entity on this site are made within the scope of the joint venture’s collaborative communications.

SKYWASP™, SR2 Vector™, SR2 Defense Systems™, REDSALT Defense™, and associated logos and identifiers are trademarks of their respective owners. All other trademarks referenced on this site are the property of their respective owners. All content on this site, including text, graphics, images, renderings, and design elements, is the intellectual property of SR2 Vector and its constituent entities and is protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United States, and other applicable jurisdictions. End-use, operational responsibility, and limitation of liability

SR2 Vector is engaged in the development, manufacturing, and supply of advanced defense capabilities. Capabilities developed by SR2 Vector are made available to authorized end-users exclusively under separate written agreements, in accordance with applicable export control authorizations, end-use undertakings, and the laws and regulations of the relevant jurisdictions.

The deployment, operation, targeting, employment, and any other operational use of any capability developed, manufactured, or supplied by SR2 Vector is the sole and exclusive responsibility of the authorized end-user. SR2 Vector does not direct, authorize, control, supervise, or participate in operational decision-making by end-users, including but not limited to decisions regarding strike authorization, targeting, rules of engagement, mission planning, command and control, or compliance with international humanitarian law, the law of armed conflict, or any other applicable body of law governing the conduct of military or security operations.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SR2 Vector, its constituent entities, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, suppliers, and representatives disclaim any and all liability for:

  1. any act, omission, decision, or operational use by any end-user, customer, transferee, or third party in connection with any capability developed, manufactured, supplied, or otherwise associated with SR2 Vector;
  2. any unauthorized transfer, modification, reverse engineering, replication, or derivative use of any capability;
  3. any consequence, direct or indirect, arising from end-user operations, including but not limited to loss of life, personal injury, property damage, or alleged violations of any applicable law;
  4. any reliance by any party on the existence, capabilities, or anticipated availability of any program or capability described herein;
  5. any decision, military, political, commercial, or otherwise, made in reliance on the capabilities of any system or program described or implied herein.

End-users assume full and exclusive responsibility for all operational use, targeting decisions, and compliance with applicable law in connection with any capability supplied by SR2 Vector. End-user agreements with SR2 Vector contain explicit obligations relating to lawful use, compliance with applicable export control and end-use restrictions, and indemnification of SR2 Vector and its constituent entities.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SR2 Vector, its constituent entities, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from access to or use of this site, reliance on its contents, or any action taken or omitted in connection therewith.

Nothing in this site is intended to limit any non-waivable rights or remedies available under applicable law.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These disclaimers and use of this site are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States of America, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising from or relating to use of this site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maryland. The governing law specified herein applies to the disclaimers and to use of the site only; it does not characterize, govern, or apply to any underlying commercial, contractual, regulatory, or operational arrangements of SR2 Vector, its constituent entities, or any program or capability described herein, each of which is governed by its own separate applicable law and jurisdiction.

Severability

If any provision of these disclaimers is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect, and the invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to be enforceable while preserving the original intent.
